These are exciting, friendly and relaxed adult classes taking place in St. Leonards, Hastings and Rye. (Life Drawing weekly classes in Bexhill please see below!).

They are suitable for beginners to those more experienced.

For beginners, there is a beginners programme option that can be followed on a one to one basis and at your own pace.  who wish to be introduced to and/or develop drawing and painting skills, in a variety of mediums.

If you are more experienced, there is individual and group tuition available to help you develop your skills or introduce new skills in a medium and style of your choice. If you would like to work on your own ideas, that’s absolutely fine too! You might just like to be with other like-minded people and be inspired by others in the group. There is guidance available if required. If you prefer a more structured course, this can either be arranged on a one to one basis or there is a suggested schedule.

If you would like to follow the structured course, please check the schedules by venue. The schedule will be updated for each block as we go. 

The classes provide the opportunity to work from either observation (still life or photographs for example) and/or work more imaginatively.

Occasionally a life model is booked and there will be a small additional cost if working from the model (please see schedule). However, if on Life Drawing sessions you prefer to work on your own thing, that’s absolutely fine and no extra cost, of course.

It is possible to start the course at any point, as the classes are ongoing.
