Weekly Art Classes
in
St. Leonards, Rye & Bexhill

Discover friendly, relaxed weekly painting and drawing classes for adults. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced artist, these sessions offer you time, space and guidance to explore your creative practice.

You can start at any time. Classes are ongoing and flexible.

GENERAL PAINTING & DRAWING (St. Leonards and Rye)

These are relaxed, supportive sessions where you can:

  • Develop your drawing and painting skills

  • Work from observation (still life or photos) or from imagination

  • Try a variety of mediums

  • Be inspired by other like-minded creatives

  • Work on your own ideas with guidance or follow the structured schedule (please find schedules by following the link for the venue below).

  • Occasionally a life model is booked and there will be a small additional cost if working from the model (please see the schedule). However, if on Life Drawing sessions you prefer to work on your own thing, that’s absolutely fine and no extra cost, of course.

Beginners can follow a gentle programme at their own pace, while more experienced artists are supported to refine their technique or explore new ideas.

LIFE DRAWING (Bexhill)

These classes are great for those who want to build confidence and observational skills.

In these classes you can:

  • Work from a variety of models (nude)

  • Choose your own medium

  • Focus on technique or experiment freely

  • Enjoy one-to-one guidance if desired

Whether you prefer tuition or to work independently, all approaches are welcomed.
