Discover supportive, friendly art classes, weekend workshops, and private tuition in Bexhill, Hastings, and Rye. Sessions are open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to more experienced artists looking to develop their practice.
My Teaching Approach
I offer relaxed, encouraging tuition with a strong focus on building confidence, skills, and enjoyment. You’re welcome to work at your own pace, explore your own ideas, or follow a more structured approach with demonstrations where appropriate.
I hold a PGCE in teaching and have many years’ experience teaching art in colleges, community settings, and independent workshops. My aim is to create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable experimenting and learning.
Weekly Art Classes
Regular group sessions designed to help you build skills over time.
Classes available:
- General Painting and Drawing
- Life Drawing
One-day Weekend Workshops
Focused workshops that allow you to immerse yourself in a single subject for the day.
Workshops available:
- Portrait drawing and painting
- Other occassional workshops
Private Tuition
One‑to‑one tuition tailored entirely to you. Sessions can also be shared with one or two friends.
Private sessions are ideal if you:
- Prefer individual guidance
- Want help with a specific project or technique
- Would like to progress at your own pace
Demonstrations
Available for art groups. My demonstrations have included Battle Art Club, WOKAS, Bexhill Art Society and East Sussex Art Club.
Hen Party Life Drawing
A great fun idea for hen parties. Hire a teacher and model who can travel to your location in the South East.
