RYE VENUE

Sept. 25th: Still Life (Vessels such as bottles, jugs, cups, boxes, bowls etc., but could add in an interesting item too if you like)
(Demo available for charcoal, but any medium you would like to work in is fine)
Materials to bring:
Medium of your choice & paper to suit the medium
If working with oil paint, please make sure you are using no odour solvent such as Zest It.
Optional: Willow Charcoal if using charcoal & a good quality cartridge paper (A3 minimum would be best in order to work more freely) & a plastic eraser would be good.
Subject matter to bring:
Vessels for a Still Life setup if possible & if you would like to add in an interesting item also, that is fine.

Oct. 2nd: Boats
(Demo available for drawing boats, but if you prefer to paint, any medium you would like to use is fine)
Materials to bring:
Drawing or painting materials of your choice & paper to suit the medium.
If working with oil paint, please make sure you are using no odour solvent such as Zest It.
Subject matter to bring:
Photo of boat/s to work from.

Oct. 9th: Buildings (Week 1) You could consider a street view if you like!
(Demo available for perspective)
Materials to bring:
Drawing or painting materials of your choice & paper to suit the medium.
If working with oil paint, please make sure you are using no odour solvent such as Zest It.
Subject matter to bring:
A photo of building/s to work from.

Oct. 16th: Buildings (Week 2)
(Demo available for perspective)
Materials to bring:
Drawing or painting materials of your choice & paper to suit the medium.
If working with oil paint, please make sure you are using no odour solvent such as Zest It.
Subject matter to bring:
A photo of building/s to work from.

Oct. 23rd: Landscape (help for painting/drawing clouds available as well as general help & advice for landscapes)
Materials to bring:
Painting or drawing medium of your choice (If painting, oil paints lend themselves to painting clouds or soft pastels or if drawing, charcoal or pencil works well.
Paper/surface suitable for your choice of medium
Brushes if painting
Palette if painting
Subject matter to bring:
Please bring a photo/s of a landscape to work from .

Nov. 13th: Life Drawing (working from a nude model if enough people or from photo if not)
(A model will be booked for this session if enough people interested & if working from the model it will be an extra £4.50 for the session). It is absolutely fine to do your own thing if you prefer to work on something else in this session

Nov. 20th: Life Drawing (working from a nude model if enough people or from photo if not)
(A model will be booked for this session if enough people interested & if working from the model it will be an extra £4.50 for the session). It is absolutely fine to do your own thing if you prefer to work on something else in this session

Nov. 27th: Cats (either domestic or wild) (from photo) Week 1

Brushes/palette if necessary for your chosen medium

Dec. 4th: Cats (either domestic or wild) (from photo) Week 2
Either continue your artwork from last week or start a new artwork if you prefer.

Medium of your choice
Paper suitable for your chosen medium
Brushes/palette if necessary for your chosen medium

Please bring a good clear photo to work from

Dec. 18th: Farm Animals (from photo) Week 2
Either continue your artwork from last week or start a new artwork if you prefer.
